Why do you need freight? Heck we get pulled in empty, both me and Randy. Never had issues until two months ago. Did somebody have a bad wreck or something?

I was in So Cal and should have tried those moves to Ft Irwin

I'm stuck in Kingman with no freight. Been here since Thursday. Before that I was stuck in Dallas.

I unloaded in Farmington NM and final in Phoenix. Reloaded near Hesperia/Victorville Weds then got held overnight for one additional pallet, sure didn't get paid enough for that unexpected delay. Left there Thurs afternoon and now sitting at mom's just past Philly. Will try again to get hold of consignee to see exactly when and where I'm supposed to deliver. Have 2nd stop in Ottowa and they already want to know when I'll be there, and shipper want's border crossing location + date/time. How can I know any of that when I can't find out where to deliver to or when they'll get crane to unload? Amazing how they leave the little details to the drivers isn't it?

I am stuck at home with no freight.. Was suppose to leave monday but the load got cancelled friday and there is nothing worth pulling within 300 miles.. Least I am stuck here but with 15 inches of fresh white stuff and -15 with the wind chill not sure that is a good thing either.. But other then that I have been getting green lighted on the pree pass open or closed. The only time I was getting red lighted was right after I got the over wieght ticket.

thanks Shadowed. I just came through the midwest but was far enough south to miss most really bad stuff and managed to stay ahead of the frozen stuff on the backend of the storm. My friend and I are ready to turn in the prepass... what's the point to paying for it if we never get a bypass?

I've had a lot of loads get cancelled lately too, don't know if they find another truck cheaper or what. I had three in a row, and they'd cancel right before 5pm so it's nearly impossible to get something until the next day.

it may be a couple days before I get to Canada. Still have to get this first stop delivered and considering weather I'm not in any real rush. If they can't get me the information and good contact information to start with I'm not going to worry about what "they" need when I finally do talk to somebody. Been trying since Thursday afternoon to get info. We're on my time now ... and since nobody will pay for that time, they'll get exactly what they're paying for :)

I'm glad I gave up and went home on Monday.

    You didn't miss much, honestly.

I'm currently stuck at home with no decent freight. But I took the advantage of an unwanted mini vacation and finally hooked up the dump valve over the weekend.

did you put a switch on the trailer or wire it into the cab? I still need to do this but it just seems like a real pain to deal with.

And today I learn they were planning my delivery, at the WTC in Manhattan, at 4pm on Weds !! Trying to get some money for sitting from Sunday evening almost three full days waiting to unload. Pretty poor planning on somebody's part. Also discovered, imagine this, it's a CH Robinson load .... :-(
