I think it's like 90 pts when you can start giving up the idea of being employable. But companies will be scored on all their drivers. So of course they will be forced to go with low numbers. Then when you sit to drop your points, you'll have to do a refresher coming back out. But like someone else said, nobody knows exactly what's going on yet. Not even the FMSCA. :)

Another heads up is drivers that pick up trailers off gravel lots. DOT can bust you if any gravel is on your landing gear pods. Always take a second to clean them off.

    suthernkumfert Thanks this.

wow...90 points...thanks for the info...this is crazy...i mean here i sit more than likely with 30 or more points because some dirt and rocks fell off the farm equipment i was hauling and was sitting on the flatbed...and thanks for the landing gear cleaning tip! its gonna take a little bit more time to double check these things now...but we gotta do what we gotta do...

Any questions or a request for info or a hearing on the matter would likely be addressed to the DPS CMV enforcement office in Houston since that's where the violation occurred.

    Best regards

Don't hold me to that. I read 90 and 100. This program is slow implementing while they figure everything out. Things are subject to change. But the forum is good place to update as members find things out.

You have nothing to sweat other than some $$$$.

yeah i dont mind payimg the fine and the points realy dont bother me either because i plan to make sure it dosent happen again...but its the fact of the whole process that i dont like...i mean im sure who ever came up with all this csa has never driven a truck or knew anyone that has driven a truck and i think that that is a bunch of bs...but i also know that people are afraid to stand up and that is the reason for all of this csa 2010 stuff...i mean with out truckers america stops, you can boat or fly it in but once it gets here with out the trucks it go no where...so we the truckers have control if and only if we stand together...but people will not do this...
