I have a General Lee radio peaked and tuned. I run a single Francis antenna that is mounted on a bird perch that is screwed into one of the holes on my mirror mounted to the door. This is for grounding purposes. I run a 16 foot coax. My radio does what it's suppose to do and from what I've been told sounds good.

have you ever had the radio checked since you bought it????? i bought a stryker 440 from a very reputable cb shop.. it was brand new in the box and it was cranked up way to much from the factory and over modulating and sounded like junk...

Well good for you, this means you have a job at Calex as long as you don't run anyone over during your road test and you pass the drug test. Good luck!

I left Barstow this morning at 4am local time and made it to Burbank at 6am with no traffic issues around LA. I got to the school I was delivering at and parked where I was told to. At exactly 8am the crew to unload me showed up and had me empty at 10am. I called into Louie and told him I was empty, he told me to go over to Ontario and spend the night there and he would have my reload info the next morning.

As I pulled into the T/A he called to let me know that I would be loading a one pick load of grapes near Yuma going back to Milton Pa for Monday morning. This turns out to be a very productive pay period, I'll have just shy of 6000 miles to hand in Monday for my next pay check Christmas Eve. Nice!

    The Challenger Thanks this.

Winter is upon us, as I sit here in Southern California enjoying 70 degree sunshine.
