Thanks Bud, but I clearly don't qualify. The only thing I know about "aircraft" is how to board them for a flight and the only thing I know about "mechanics" is how to pick up the phone and call one if I have a breakdown LOL! My pre-trucking resume is actually quite bizzare. Lots of sales jobs, spent 13 years as an Investigator and Compliance Agent for a P.I. Firm, was an Insurance Salesman for three years, and finally one day said "I always see want ads for truck drivers" so here I am three years later.

Oh well, thanks for the potential "job hookup" IKE, I owe ya one brother!

Yeah, we were making money hand over fist in the mid 90's until the Big Banks discovered "internet searches" :biggrin_25523:

Has anyone ever heard of Logistic Express Inc. out of virgina beach VA? There a reefer company I saw in the back of an owner contractor magizine? I was told they were a good company to work for as an owner operator.

hussleman what are you looking to pull and how often are you do you want to be home? You might want to look into van wyk they have a terminal in waynesboro. There is a thread about them in the inside scoop section that is updated by a couple current drivers and they have given them very good reviews

My main focus is to pull reefer but, pulling a flat bed wood be my next option. I don't mind staying on the road 2 weeks at a time. And if the money is good I'll stay out a month at a time. but I know the economy changes a lot of things!

I looked up Van wyk but, I didn't see anything on owner operator. I think I failed to mention that.
