Take it from the log lady he is very accurate in what he is saying. I wonder if he works where I do? Sounds like something I would almost say (not exact words though):biggrin_2559:

I often wonder if anyone pays attention to the macros. At Schneider I would slot for say 20:00 coming off a ten hour break and they would send me a load that picks up at 19:30 and is 50 miles away.

MANDATORY IQ AND MATH TESTS FOR DISPATCHERS!!!!!

Preset message form used over the Qualcomm. You imput data values in certain fields and transmit just the values with the macro number. The computer on the other end puts the info back in the proper form. It cuts down on the volume of information being sent so that the company gets a discount rate.

Schneider used to claim that they only got charged $0.15 for a macro but the average freeform message cost them almost $1.00. Doesn't seem like a lot until you figure how many messages they send.
