I heard his wife saying he was shooting to miss, that he was actually a gentle giant. After I cleaned the Dr. Pepper off my screen, I figured they should probably charge her in her husband's 'absence', since she's just as dumb.

 

When that member of school board who was not sitting down at the time, Ginger Littleton sneaked up behind Clay Duke to hit him and possibly knock the pistol out of his hand, when his back was turned to the rest of the seated group of school board members to deal with her ... the others should have rushed him, piled on and held him down -- kicking the pistol away.

I think he fired fourteen shots within eight feet of the panel of school board members. So, did he really mean just to scare them by firing in their direction or was he a bad shot? He had another ammo clip in the back pocket of his pants and a box of bullets elsewhere.

It seems like they would have done something when she distracted him. She was the bravest in the group no doubt, and she didn't have to come back to try to help.

 

Unless you are well trained for this type of scenario, you do not know how you will react. Guaranteed!

 

Yes, the other school board members just literally sat there, when, she had distracted Clay Duke by hitting him with her purse. If there was something nearby, heavier, she should have used that to cripple his hand and make him drop the gun. At that point, she could have kicked the gun away and the rest of the school board members could have piled on Clay Duke.

She left the room when Clay Duke ordered the women and children out but went back ... why? I think it was because she had a moral conscience. A sense of duty. In her mind, if she had stayed off stage, so to speak ... then those other school board members could have been shot like ducks in a row. She would have had to live with herself and her emotions of guilt letting Clay Duke kill the rest of the school board. She would have also had to contend with the wrath of the Panama City, Florida community and thus ... for those reasons ... these factors are what drove her to get back into the hearing room and smack Clay Duke with the only weapon she had at the time, her purse.

He pushed her to the ground and said, "You stupid b***h" then pointed his gun at her but did not fire at her. I want to go to gambling with her because she's lucky.

She was selling her purse on ebay but I guess they made her take it down. Since it was for a charity that's too bad.
