    yikes... do keep us informed..

I carry a small propane camping stove for days like this though. Have had it in my truck for years. Waiting for a time to use. (keeping my fingers crossed) I better check it out, make sure it works. :D

I will let you guys know what they find out tomorrow. They are supposed to be pulling the trans tonight so i can take it in to be inspected for any damage. Then they will try and trace down the source of the oil leak whether it be from the rear of the engine or from the trans.

Hopefully it is just the rear main seal that blew out and wrecked the clutch. Not so bad, I hope they get you back on the road quick and done right though.

My partner broke down outside of Kenora three nights ago. Sat for about 4 hours too and I think it was -25C, which I think is about -10F as well. He ended up calling a taxi to sit there and wait for the wrecker. It was a rocker arm that went.

Well i guess i can change the title to this thread now. The engine is fine. The oil came from the trans. Still don't know exactly what happened, but the clutch totally grenaded and really beat up the trans. Cat thinks the input shaft bearing went and allowed the shaft to fall back into the trans. Pete thinks a clutch spring went and caused all the damage. They said that the springs have been "upgraded" because this is common i guess. Either way its not looking like eaton will warrant the trans. Here are some pics of the damage. Sorry for the quality they are from my phone.

Figured it could be the trans, thats why I asked about the clutch. Although I didn't think it would be the clutch and the trans both lol
