I'm actually kind of in agreement with the consensus here. Any company with more than 100 trucks can be shown to be "unsafe." Look at all the &*$% said about Swift, but looking at hard numbers and true percentage stats, Swift is actually close to the top with regard to safety.

But we all know those who work for or with smaller companies just think they walk on water. Sorry. They don't. And yes, I've been on both sides of the fence on this one.

So enough with the company bashing.

 

the best thing to do , is get the dot #s for the companies your interested in, and look up thier safety rating first, See if there are going to be any potention problems down the road, once you hired on.

 

Not so much, those that live in "glass" houses shouldn't throw stones. But hey "don't" let ACTUAL facts get in the way of a good argument.

Nobody's throwin' stones here... just remember to move over when one of the W&S wheelholders comes by with his trailer draggin' a foot over the lane divider. Who needs to say anything more? The FMCSA is going to outlaw what goes on at W&S - the rule is already in the works.
