New guy from so cal.

Hey guys found the site threw a friend. Been local since i got my license 11 years ago. Had to bite the bullet and go otr now. There is just nothing going on local. So i fly out on the 13th to Washington for orientation with Gordon trucking. Kinda scared kinda excited not sure. Don't even know what to take with me! Anyways glad to be here!

 

Thanks Mrs.T ! I had plan on taking the laptop. This place is full of info. Just hope i made the right choice???? Seen a lot of stuff here both good and bad on gordon. But my wife says i will never know until i try. So hear i go!

Well i passed the physical and drug test they booked my plane ticket and i fly out monday the 13th!

 

Well i have been out here for 3 months now.......... I don't know what to say really. It overall is a good job decent money get to see things and go places i have never been. But some of the drivers out here are how should i say this???? Very rude and disgusting! Trashing the only places we have to park, urine bottles all over off ramps. Its no wonder why people don't want truckers in their town. When my grandpa did it there was a standard a code one would say. Now all you see is filth and rudeness everywhere! Maybe i am wrong but i thought there was a better breed of people out here. Hate me if you want for saying this but its my opinion.
