    Hello All,

I guess this is the area for us new posters to go and introduce ourselves. I, like many others have been out of work for a few months, and I stumbled across this site.

Nothing particular really led me here. I think I was watching some YouTube videos and came across a guy named Trucker Steve, and another guy called Bug Cat Trucker. They had some great videos and somehow Googling led me to this site.

It is amazing how much stuff is on this site. And I enjoy reading all about your travels and adventures, sometimes getting a good laugh.

I have never driven a big rig, but have worked as an Independent Contractor courier. So I can relate to many things you guys discuss and encounter out on the road, weather, idiot drivers, and trying to get stuff from A to B on time. :biggrin_25519:

I finally broke down and registered on the site to be able to see the links you folks post and just to absorb all the info you guys share.

I am 42 now, had a couple of heart attacks too, so not real sure if I would ever have the chance to drive a big rig. As a kid, I always thought it would be a great career, but that was years ago, and when you hear about all the stuff you guys have to endure while out, just not sure if I would ever be able to juggle all that.

I wanted to at least get my first post on here, introduce myself, and let you all know I enjoy reading ALL the posts, and hearing the good & bad about the industry.

I had a hard time choosing between "wannabe" or "4 wheeler" so I went with what I know for sure I am currently and that is a "4 wheeler". But I drive a Yukon, if that helps...LOL. Not some Prius.

I want to wish you all lucrative and safe miles. Be safe on those wintery roads, and have a Happy Holiday, Festivus, and New Year, wherever you may be, (if you can't be at home or with family), the best you can.

Don't wanna drag this out too long, but wanted to at least say Hello! :biggrin_25519:

Well welcome aboard El Guapo. This site is a great place to get info etc...etc...
Having a couple of heart attacks doesn't always mean you can't drive rig but it does make it a bit harder.

You also coulda put No Answer instead of prius driver:biggrin_2559:....J/K
But feel free to jump in the waters fine and the sharks are out there on the highway
