I put my app in with these guys. There have been numerous adds for drivers down here around Tampa and didn't hear anything so I started calling, and calling, and calling. I've called at least 10 times and left messages each time but they have never called me back. I doubt it's my application. I just don't get it. Anyone else have this problem with them?

I still remember the driver who got killed in Florida back in the '80s on I-95 around St Augustine when his recap steer tire blew out. Thinking it was a Clay Fuels tanker. Have seen a number of nasty fuel truck accidents in my lifetime; they leave an impression. There is an MGM Transport terminal literally within walking distance of my house..... -
Back in 84 they ran 2 loads to Ft.Myers from Tampa. $96 for the day, crap money, Short tractors with 13's and 318 Detroits.

So whats the pay like now, they are hiring in my area...can someone post the annual salary approximately or a more detailed breakdown?...Thanks ...there website wasnt specific

The best way to get on with Fl rock is to just go to a terminal and apply. If you have tanker exp they will usually hire you. Only problem with them is you get the crap runs for the first year, little money.
