Shed, my dad is a driver and he uses a small can of oxygen enriched air. Don't know the name of it, but he swears by it. He says it gives him "energy and focus". I would be more than happy to find out from him.

One of the best pick me ups can actually be some plain old cold water! I am a caffeine junkie via Mountain Dew, and when I start feeling a bit of burn out kicking in, a bottle of cold water actually perks me back up.

The sleep and good diet are also keys.

At a continuing education class I attended a few years back, they claimed that non-refridgerated water is processed by the human body faster than any other liquid. Keeping yourself properly hydrated is vital to the proper function of the electrical impulses occuring in the brain. Cold water was a not too distant second.

Ok, so I'm just kidding. I used to go with the "unleaded" coffee, but it still has SOME caffeine in it. Fact is that I have never tried to go completely without caffeine. Not at all sure I could do it. I know they say caffeine is bad for you. But so is smoking. . .

I do right! Eat fruits, healthy and light food (no sugar) will not make you sleepy. Also sleep well (as much as possible) or take a nap if you are very tired, that's much better and healthier than coffee.

Hey C&G, I talked to my dad and he said a friend that he works with gave him a website to get it. I have it for you, but I don't want to get removed for advertising. I will send it to you.

I've noticed some energy drinks have mass amounts of B12 and B-complex vitamins in them. So I bought some and tried similar quantities as listed on the drinks. It does seem to have some positive effects. I'm not worried about the dose amounts. Some doctors will give injections that have huge amount more than the pills can contain.

On the down side, I have been in Marshfield, Wi the past few weeks. We have had high temps in the single digits. The only hot drink available is regular coffee. I've found myself having 1/4 to 1/2 cup a day just to warm my insides. Then it screws up my sleep.
