    Thanks for all the advice everyone. Whatever happens happens, I am going to use my resources and personal relationships to my advantage. I grew up next door to Robert Phillips Trucking for peet sakes. I think its worth a shot. They have 8 trucks, small business.

    Right off their trucks. It's required to be on each truck, both sides.

    will do, I am noticing that a lot of these small companies that are local, it says they require two years experience. The website says so anyways

    A lot of smaller outfits do require two years experience or more. It all depends on their insurance carrier.

    good luck to you, but i hope you don't make it in this business, since you think you gotta do things your way.

    i wanna see you argue any trucking company's rules and the DOT as well. let me know how far you got......

    16? heck, you might have to list a paper route. LOL I would just go back as far as 18 years old.

    #### i am 41 and have had only 3 jobs counting the one i work for now .
    My bother in law has had 19 jobs and he is 38:biggrin_2555:
