I got my CSA scores for "free" via my company safety dept. But I also keep all the tickets, warnings, roadside inspection reports, mvr, etc, etc, etc....

Your company will have all violations during the time you are with your company. And if you came to them recently they will have your PSP.
If you started working for them before the PSP program started, then they should not have your PSP. Unless you gave them permission to get the info.
PSP is basically the drivers side of CSA.
It will show all the violations and warnings that you received in the past 3 years. At all employers.
It will not show any tickets that you received in a non-commercial vehicle.
And is not supposed to show any violation or warning that you received where the officer did not do an inspection. Of either the driver, truck or both.
So, it is nothing like you DAC, which is just info from company's you have worked for.
It is not your Drivers license record, since it only shows violations where a CMV inspection was done, and it includes all warnings, not just tickets.
It is a totally new animal.
Oh, I also have to add.
There is no score. Since they do not put numbers on your PSP. It is just a list of warnings and violations. They say that they do not give you a score at all. But the company's are using 3rd party software to make up scores. Also they do know how many points are assessed per violation. What the company's and the 3rd party company's do not know is how much weight any particular violation really holds with the FMCSA, since they are not telling them. And have no plans too. -
I went and looked up my company info. I recieved one ticket on sept 25 2008 and was put oos at the canadian border this year that I fixed on site and neither one of those is showing up. But most of my co-workers screw ups are on there. I guess it is time to pony up 10 bucks and find out myself.
Just looked it up, ten bucks lighter in the wallet. Both of my tickets/violations are not one there, but both of my inspections that I passed are on there. Makes me start to wonder how acurate this thing is.Last edited: Dec 19, 2010

Its only as accurate as the data entry is. If the data punch operator screws-up, your record is screwed-up. So if you decide to hop, IMO, I wouldn't assume that those two tickets won't show up in an official record somewhere. A discrepancy between that and your application might keep you from getting a job.

I try to scan the Drudge Report whenever I get a chance, but I must not have been online the day that the USSR took over the United States of America.
And as a side note, I tried to get my PSP, but for some reason the request failed.
Unbelievable!JRTBud Thanks this. -
A good plot would include a way to control information... Matt Drudge wouldn't know it happened!

You can go to roadsideresume.com and get your report for free but you must work for a large company like Landstar that particapates with there site.

If you have an inspection with violations on it from the last 3 years go to the CSA website, enter your carrier DOT #, and you can view it and see how many points it carries at present.
The inspections are listed in chronological order and are segregated by CSA violation type. There are no names so you will need to know your tractor base plate # when the inspection took place.123456 Thanks this. -
And the feds are really trying to make Your information Public information.
Hopefully that never mayerializes !!!!!
