I need to change my name to
"Carnack the Magnificent!"
I predicted this would happen.
My next prediction is Dicky complaining about the fat slobs, wear and tear on "his" truck that he will have to pay repairs on!
parkerr58 and The Challenger Thank this. -
If Dick responds to trainee's as he does to the people who attempt to train him....
Then the trucking industry is in a world of hurt! The Challenger and outerspacehillbilly Thank this. -
Can't we all have a "Rodney King moment?"

Sure we can....but who is going to volunteer to climb out of the cab and get beaten up?
NOT ME! It takes too long to heal!

This is something every lease operator has to think about when they decide to be a mentor. You just stay on top of your student, the mentor sets the pace. The only drawback on mentoring and being a L/O is they charge you five cents per mile. Sometimes you get a student who has a natural aptitude for driving a big rig and you can pick up some team miles and then that excess mileage charge (nine cpm over 11,0000 per month) shows up on the settlement and all you can say is "OUCH, that hurt". However, at the end of the lease all those excess miles you've racked up in $$$ is applied to the purchase price.
