i think its more of the getting out of the seat and into the bunk for some.. i had a 2003 KW w900b with a 60 inch flat top im 6 foot 190 and getting through there some times got old, especially if i was carrying something...

I think alot of guys are referring to leg room more than anything. The 379's and W900's with the walls behind the seats were lacking in leg room and elbow room.

Dont think it is as much about ### size as it is worries about what people might think seeing male team drivers sitting so close.:love3:

Kinda funny, in the pickup truck arena, there's always some argument of whether a Ford, Chevy or Dodge is better.

I used to sell big trucks, and bought a few over the years. That said, big trucks are like RVs. They're a SHELL that is set on a frame. The true irony is that I could line up a Peterbilt, Kenworth, F/L Coronado and Western Star, and under the fiberglass, steel and aluminum body, they're the same truck, if I spec them that way. They could all have a Cummins ISX, 13-sp, the same axles, frame length, etc -

Mechanically, these trucks are just as good as the way they're maintained, the rest is personal preference for looks - to say a Pete rides better than a KW is silly, since they could actually be the exact same under the skin.

In my opinion, the argument over which big truck is better is more silly than the Ford, Chevy, Dodge thing - at least pickups have engines and trannies made by different manufactirers.

    Excellent point.

But there is a difference in suspensions. Other than that its all in how you take care of them.

Suspensions differ some, yes, but if you're using air ride all around or a spring front end, they're fairly close, comparing apples to apples.

I agree except the 8 bag that KW has. It's alittle different, too say the least.

But all the big bag suspensions are basically the same.

Trust me, I agree completely with the point you're making.
