Why'd you use suck a large cord for your air dump?

This is what I'm looking at using when & if I ever earn enough money & take enough time off to do it...

Mostly because the trailer came equipped with the socket for that large cord.

It seems many late-model Fontaines and some Reitnours come with that socket, so I kinda guessed this might become a new industry standard. Of course with my luck, it'll probably be obsolete in a couple years.

So there's not really solid rational reason in other words But hey, it works.

I'm OK, sitting at Petro in Atlanta. Picking up a load tomorrow and headed to Sacramento with one drop in Elko, NV.

I took it thinking I'll have something to do over Christmas. Thinking things through, I probably shouldn't have. Looking forward to driving through I-80 in WY and Donner pass, then I'll be stuck in the land of cheap freight again.

They say live and learn, but I seem to be just living and not learning much LOL.

How do you guys like your new truck?

 

love the new truck...I heard Donner was closed but that was last weekend......saw REDD yesterday....or did I already say that? loaded and headed home.

 

So what are the specs on the truck (engine, transmission, etc)? Gearhead inside me wants to know. I assume T6 was traded in?

Commiefornia has been getting hammered with severe rain storm. The place I'm staying is OK, but the town 10 miles west got flooded, or so I heard.

I'll probably run into that storm somewhere in UT/WY/NE. Wish me a luck!

Sounds like a nice truck! I sure wish I bought a truck with ISX - they seem to get really good mileage especially after disabling EGR.

It's about time that my 5.5 mpg Volvo gets better mileage then some of these large cars.
