I'm not going to comment due to the fact that corporate monitors this board.

Well yes, I have a GPS. In this case, it wanted to take me down a residential area clearly marked No trucks. Ended up going downtown, then stopped to ask directions, found out I missed my turn about a 1.5 miles back, had to do a blindside back into their mty lot cause the road was closed ahead, saw the turn I was suppose to make just as I passed it and had to turn around again. Its a cold stg outfit, that you MUST follow the trk rts to. Found it this time, no problem.

Just took load from Leesburg to Black Mountain. Hope you don't have that destination, unless you like waiting and your company is generous with detention pay:biggrin_25525:
Leesburg was fine, except CRE and I had same load number. They ended up unloading the CRE and I took the load. Wierd huh?;->

Dentention pay?? Whats that??? :biggrin_25524: Were you at the cold stg place or Saddle Creek? My load is going to Cheyenne but I'm only taking it as far as Olathe, KS. Time for a PM and as a company drvr, has to be done at our shop. Oh yea, both those places in Leesburg, are pretty kick ### and especially the cold stg place. I was there....early, at 1315 and pulling out of there at 1430. Wish there were more places like that!!!!

Forgot to write down my Tcall time before deleting that msg, so asked night dispatch what it was. They said 2200 tonight. Yea right. Be more like 1130 tomorrow. Load doesn't deliever till the 24th so plenty of time.

they probably wouldn't be monitoring the board if you hadn't mentioned it to them. :biggrin_2559:

Am at the yard in Olathe and just saw the funniest/strangest thing. You just KNOW, it has to be bad, when a full grown, follows a driver into the yard!!!! Wonder what the heck he did and how long he will be suspended for.

I told my dispatcher straight out that I post here, and that I will continue to post here.
I also told him that I will be totally honest, and that he could watch it all he wanted. But that since I was being honest there was nothing they could do.
He did not care one way or the other, but I am sure noted it in a file somewhere.

Well guys looks I will be going driving for Swift or Werner. Just got to submit applications. Walmart is good company to work for but it was not meant to be. I left on good terms. I would go back if it was a overnight position or a different department besides toys. Thats all I will say.
