Hey do you want my recruiters number? She got me approved (checked my job and personal references) in one day. Which was today, and said tomorrow around three she will have my mvr as the topping on the cake that I will be attending orientation on the 4th of Jan.

No, they will get you load near your house. Im just saying dont expect to be running in and out of CA much except when they get you a load going for hometime.

I don't get what you mean when you say don't expect to be running in and out of california. Are you saying I will most likely stay in California?

If you choose to fly, they will reimburse you up to the amount the bus ticket would cost (I know because that's exactly what I did). If you drive out there, same deal. Just save your fuel receipts.

Most of our California freight in my experience has been team freight, especially during produce season. I still get out that way from time to time, but I wouldn't expect to run a whole lot of California as a solo driver. Getting you home shouldn't be a problem though.

Like U2, I'm also a company driver. During orientation when I first started they briefly went over the lease deal (and I mean very briefly). My trainer was also a lease op, so I got to see a little bit of the inside workings. Other than that, I have never heard a single peep about leasing. They cover lease operators quite a bit in our monthly safety CD's that come out. But nobody has ever called me on the phone or even as much as asked to speak with me about going lease. Nor have I ever been approached about being a trainer / instructor / team driver. I know the places to receive information about any of the above, and should I ever become interested in doing any of those things, it would be very easy to obtain information about it. But if your concern is feeling pressure to lease, you won't have to worry about that at Prime.

    Mudrunner and revslev Thank this.
