Well when things get better give it a try and if you don't like being alone team wish someone you know. It will make things easier at least if your like me and have a hard time backing.

Went to the Bagel Bites this morning. You have to back in from the street into their yard and then into the dock That really sucked. I realized after I got my logs back last night that I will have to sit on this load until Sunday no dropping early for me I have to do a 34 to get hrs back for the next week Yuck oh well maybe I can find a place to go play in the snow.:biggrin_2559:

I am now in GA sitting at the Pilot on the 95 just before SC. I thought about just driving till my time was up. However I was getting bored and I have so much time its unreal. Its all good I had MC D's for Dinner and am now vegging out in my truck trying to figure out what I want to do.

Oh So after I ate I was sitting in my truck looking thru my QC and This Empire truck was trying to back in to a tight spot. So as I'm watching him his back right side came in contact with the mirror of the truck he was trying to park next to. He didn't break it just moved it a bit. Well he continues to back up and then stops gets out and comes to the right side and looks. He has cleared the truck he just needs to keep going a bit to get in the spot. What does he do he decides to ditch the attempted ends up pulling on the guys mirror this time and rocks the truck. He didn't break the mirror just jostled the truck a bit. Didn't even look back to see if he did anything just left. The guy gets out of his truck and starts looking around. There is no damage but you could tell he knew something happends. Empire should have used GOAL!!!!!

After 8pm I'm headed to the rest area, just so I don't have to deal with tight spots

That is one good thing about the newer break aways on mirrors.
They will allow it to move forward and back, so that the whole thing is not ripped off the truck, as they use to be.
My guess is that he never knew he hit it, forward or backwards.
Since it was due to too much swing on the trailer. On the way out he cut his wheels to the left and swung out more than when he came in.
Happens allot. Many of the trucks that get really messed up in truck stops are not from backing, they are from people that do not pay attention when leaving the hole and cut too soon. Especially when they have the tandoms too far forward.
Unless they get caught on the bumper or another part of the truck they normally do not even know they hit it, and keep on going.

Maybe the inside of the truck wanted a bath too.
