The compnay I work for just bought new Cascadia Freightliner day cabs. In the overhead console, there are doors on the cubbys. I would have assumed that was where the CB would go but obviously it is not. Can anyone help me out here. I don't want to go mounting it on the dash cause they might frown on that lol.

There is a center locking compartment above. The CB cubby is to the left. You may have to remove the plastic trim held on by two T-25 torx screws and pop out the insert. If the truck was speced from the factory for a CB the power plug and antenna plug will be located inside the overhead compartment.

Thanks for the reply. I had a look at it today. There is a center console. There is also one to the left and to the right both with drop down doors. I will have to have a better look to see where these torx screws are as I did not notice them today.

The two T25 torx are located on the upper part of the trim. The bottom insert on the trim is removable with a CB bracket inside the left compartment above the driver's seat.

Thanks for the reply cmc. It was easy to access. Do you know if there is an cb speaker built in somewhere? I like how the I'national has it above the driver but I don't think there is one for this truck.

As far as I know there isn't one.
