Yes...DNL is just a term that is used for internal purposes. Regional runs are basically anything east of I-35. About 65-75% of your time is spent in the south east region but the remaining percent could be anywhere the need to send you, afterall this is trucking and we gotta go where the freight is. The FM will try to get you a direct route back into your region if you find yourself outside of it.

They also have what they call Loops...like the Laredo loop that runs from the Carolinas to Laredo and then back...thats all you do.

JB offers either the 18/3, 12/2, or the 2/3 variations which determines how many days your out (example: 18 days out & 3 days off).

Thanks for the info. I took the 12/2 deal at .37cpm. A run to Laredo and back would be great! Ive done that a few times. Good miles. The company I worked for last year put me in the northeast 2 weeks before Christmas and the week after doing short runs. Lots of work and no miles.

If you haven't already started with JB Hunt then call your recruiter back and ask if there are any laredo loop runs available, if you have started then you will have to ask your fleet manager or call corporate.
