Maverick dead headed me over 400 miles to get me home...where I sit and type this now. They are doing everything possible to get all of their drivers home for Christmas.

Never said they don't lie, and after 10 years of dealing with creative answers from junior Sailors, I have a habit of verifying answers elsewhere. You know, not everyone is a freaking moron, some people DO know how to ask around...

I verified their answers by talking to folks who drive/have driven for those particular companies; the recruiters I spoke to answered my questions factually, from what I've found talking to current/former drivers. The answers to the questions they did not know..I found those answers. About what I expected to find...crap pay, miles spiking up and down, realistic home schedules, usual shi...stuff.
