Well England or SWift will probably never say no! Hold out for your last option though. They didn't say anything to you about this while you were in school? Probably not huh, they just took your money!

I don't think Swift will take him because of the possession of a controlled substance charge.

dano, i just had to go back into your past posts. you never mentioned anything about this background. i have told students in the past about hiring bans or refusals for hiring and the situations. i'm sorry that the school you went to wasn't too concerned about YOUR background as much as I WOULD HAVE been, and i would have told you things that probably would have pissed you off, but it would have been factual.

some companies have LIFETIME bans on any kind of criminal record or alcohol related offenses. some companies will have a minimum year exception, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years....lifetime...(Werner is one of them..*lifetime*)

now all you can do is keep trying. there will be a "time limit" or "time frame" you will be working with. most (if not all companies) will refuse you a job IF you go past this time frame and NOT have a job. they will basically ORDER YOU to go back to school for a refresher course of the WHOLE COURSE all over again.

in one of your original threads, you mentioned you were going to swift....were these the people that shot you down...????

there are still other companies you haven't tried yet, search the boards for those companies. you can also try an LTL company near you, but they may want you to work the docks for a while, then move you into driving at a later time.

you can also try "driver leasing companies" as well. they may not need a driver, but they may need a yardman for one of their accounts. you can also try class B jobs.

keep us up to date......but if you do not mind, in the future, please do not leave out pertinent information like you did, because then its a bit too late to advise you.

Sorry Camper, these sorts of things don't "Happen". These are things you do intentionally at the time.

You are being turned down for something you did, not something that happened, as if you were not in control of your choices.

You can get a job, you will just have to work harder for it. Stupid has a price. Time to pay up.
