Worst truck stop you have been to

the 49'r was never my choice to stop. Now it's a pilot. I didn't think it could get worse. Crappy food, crappy service. 10 bucks to shower,1$ for extra towel, no soap and 50 cents for a wash rag(you get to keep it)! All to shower in a small dirty stinking shower. Never again!

 

I don't know the name, but that Phillips 66 truck stop on the north side of Hwy 30 between Valparaiso and Plymouth, IN.
I ordered a meatloaf dinner and it had a real long hair winding through the meat loaf and mash potato's. I pointed it out to the waitress. She took it and brought it back with little pieces of meatloaf and microwave burn. You could tell all they did was dig the hair out and sent it back. I threw a dollar down for the tea and walked out. I could hear the waitress yelling at the cook as I left.

I sat down for a meal there. With out looking I took the silverware out of the napkin.
My first bite I could feel sharp edges on the fork. When I looked there was dried food stuck to it. Looking at the spoon, same thing with mouth drag marks on it. The silverware never made it to the dishwasher. Someone wrapped used silverware back up.
I filed a complaint with the health dept. The manager called me and offered me a free steak dinner. I never went back. I check my silverware now!

 

At the Flying J in Laredo there is a guy in a van parked at the entrance that offers a ride to boystown for the drivers.

 

The old Key Truck Stop in Houston. You could see the disease crawling around in the restaurant. I won't go into what the restrooms were like.

 

And beside the Key truckstop was the Cheating Heart Bar/Saloon as I recall. Lots of knife and gun shot wounds came out of that place.

 

The Truck and Travel T/A on I5 in Oregon makes the Niner look like a Ritz Carlton. Any where in Dallas is a toilet also. And Im easy, these are some of the trap doors strait to the netherworld.

the Petro on 285 ex. 12 in Atlanta is getting to be a real PITA to get in and out of, if you have to stop for the light, you'll have 3 bums swinging off your mirrors wanting a dollar.

North Bend, WA TA I-90 exit 34 has no laundry facilities, (WTF) but, the waitresses are great, Xmas dinner there was good!
