Air Tank Drain question

    on and old Mack I used to drive when I would pull the cord to check for water I would get oil coming out or atleast it looked like oil, black in color. question is should I have kept pulling the cord till it stopped spiting any liquid out and just air coming out.

    When I drain mine, I drain it until it is totally empty of air.

    that's what I thought, didn't think there should be any liquid in there

    Could be time to replace the air dryer cartridge. Excess oil could indicate a worn compressor.
