The best seat I ever had was one I pulled out of a wrecked luxury Chevy van and stuck in a Pete 359 many years ago it sit low to the floor, no air and had to sit on two pillows to see over the dash but it worked, was cheap and I liked it.
When I got my new Pete in 07' I drove it home 130 miles and the first thing I did was jerk the factory seats out because they were uncomfortable as hell and stuck in new Elite seats by Sears. I liked them but it is time for a new seat. -
I'd never buy a seat from a catalog... the Knoedler I bought at the MATS several years ago seemed to be comfortable when on display but I really never liked it after I installed it... never felt right.

When I purchased my 1996 W900 (used) it had the top of the line Seats Inc Legacy HD model in it. When I wanted to replace the seat in my 2001 W900, Performance KW offered me a pretty good deal on another Seats Inc Legacy HD. I wish I would have purchased a 5 gallon bucket of gear oil, put the oil in my rears, and turned the empty bucket into a seat.

im thinking i dont run air in my seats anyway, how about a custom chair like lazyboy, just unbolt it and rebolt it sounds sleepy though

I have and LIKE them very much! That said many people curse them, but I find most people dont know how to use them, in that Most who hate them think that the air button is for raising and lowering the seat! But its not. Keep plenty of air in them and there is a separate lever to raise or lower. Also your choice as to seat material, They work excellent to isolate you from a rough ride vs a regular air seat. I think the most abuse is in a Log Truck and they last just as long as any other seat!

I like the Sears seats. I have used a couple of bostroms and hated them with a passion.

I have a sears seat in my truck. I weigh 270 and have yet to wear that seat out (over 5 years old). Also if you like a low rider you can take that bottom support base out and it will bolt to the floor about 4 inches lower and still have air bag travel. You have to wear a base ball cap to do this though so passers by will know someone is driving the truck.

I new there had to be SOMEBODY who liked 'em....
