Hi everyone, my name is Sergiy. I have been trucking since I came to Canada 15 years ago, I started with a Freightliner FL112 and now I own a cherry red 2006 Peterbilt 379 C15, which I love and hope is my last truck! I have a few questions for you guys. I was wondering if anyone has removed their passenger seat and installed a type of "workstation" where there are drawers, a place to put the laptop, or something that is similar. Maybe a table or something that will utilize the space where the passenger seat is.
My company uses an electronic logbook, which I am sure you are all familiar with, it is called PeopleNet. When I am idling during the night, the PeopleNet shows that my engine (CAT C15 MXS) has used 1.3L of fuel for one hour of operation. Can I trust this reading, is this accurate?
Thanks you everyone in advance and happy holidays!
EDIT: One last thing, I have a water leak from from the top. I have the bullet type of mark lights on my roof, and I thought this might be the reason. I did a round of caulking around the mark lights but this did not help. I believe that this leak happens only when I am driving. Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

Hi Krooser, thank you for the reply!
Where did you get the filing cabinets? Are they specially constructed cabinets or just the regular steel office type cabinets? -
I had a leak awhile back that was having trouble finding. I pulled the headliner and took it through the streakin Beacon and they let me sit in it while they washed it. It was a clearance light that I had "fixed" already. Very easy to find that way, take a good flashlight if you go that route.
