I see some very good advice given here. Call me jealous but I wasn't able to beech about anything until I had paid the dues of time in the saddle.

I would head back to Weiner man and try to get what I need for now and wait until this economy straightens out. It's possible for you to slide right back in and likely your departure will never show up.

I like the comment about judgment based and rule based. I work for a rule based carrier... completely inflexible. If there was a million dollars in the parking lot then they couldn't go get it unless the book said you could.

    Also,

We have several old school drivers with time ranging 25 yrs and up with the carrier. Some of them don't get the Q.C. Well the carrier has resorted to threats of termination if they don't start getting it...... not verbal either drivers.....a letter in your box.

Interesting behavior from a carrier whom openly whines about CSA 2010 and the effect it will have on his driver pool.

We've got 3 posters here that aren't even wet behind the ears. :biggrin_2559:

CRST Malone This shyster outfit was so desperate for help they sent me a text wanting me to be a O/O. I've never applied there. They were just flinging turds at the wall hoping something would stick.

i have to admit the whole i want this truck and not that one is abit childish to a degree.like my grand dad used to tell me,wish in one hand and #### in the other and see which one fills up faster lmao.wow i remember after the first year i drove, i had to come off the road. so i pulled regional se to sw, the truck i was in was a 49 autocar"volvo". it was a beast to say the least lmao.had about 4 to 6 inches of play in the steeringwheel, brakes went out all the time no ac and was slow as could be lmao. here's a vid of a mint cond one the one i was in should have been parked long b4 i sat in it lmao.

needless to say i recommend for those picky people to drive something like that for awhile.then you would be happy to have any of the newer truck that you don't seem to like now.

forgot to add,no power steering either lmao.

ps he drives it in pt2.

Another thing that people need to remember is that the company's on this forum represent only a very small fraction of the company's on the road.
They employ maybe 1 out of every 10 drivers on the road.
The other 9 out of 10 are working for company's with less than 10 trucks. These company's normally do not advertise, and if they do it is a 1 day ad in the paper. With no company name on the ad.
Actually maybe I should say 2 out of 10 drivers are employed by company's on here, since the LTL carriers are on here as well.
