How many truck stops can you still smoke in ??

In Oklahoma restraunt/bar smoking areas (optional) have to have to be seperate rooms from non smokers with it's own ventilation.

 

Yup its all fun and games to #### on the smokers. Just wait, they'll take away something you're into next...

I make a note of all the truck stops that ban smoking, that will 100 % GUARANTEE that I will return. I despise simply walking into a place and walk out smelling like putrid cigarettes. I also hate it that when smoking is banned indoors as it should be in any public building, the smokers have to all crowd around the entrances and I have to walk through the cancer -laden death clouds to get into the building. Your right to kill yourself ends when the foul odor permeates my hair and clothing and I have to breath air that is polluted by you.

Idleair didn't get any of my business when they were in business because of the 2nd hand smoke odor that absolutely fouled the units. I couldn't breath in the total stink that the units blew out. And of course all the nice , considerate smokers used the non-smoking units and those were putrid too.

Fortunately, the smokers are getting less and less preferential treatment and the air is cleaner as well. I love the smoke free truckstops and make every chance I can to stop and spend money there.

 

I don't smoke but I sure do love the smell of a ciggerette! even better is those white tip cigars I love those things well the smell anyway lol

The government tells property owners all the time what is and is not acceptable to do. You cannot spray DDT on truckstop property to keep mosquitoes down,..because its dangerous to humans.

You cannot release freon into the air, it must be captured and recycled, if the government catches a truckstop releasing freon into the atmosphere they will be fined heavily and can lose the right to service A/C units.

The fact that there are other things in the air that can cause harm doesnt mean that smokers bear no responsibility in the causes of cancer as it relates to 2nd hand smoke. I am pleased there has been so much legislation to ban smoking in ALL public areas,..the following states BAN it 100 % and the list is growing,..soon it will be banned in all states and smokers can go kill themselves outdoors by the dumpsters, far away from any public entrances.

MILLIONS will die in Africa this year because of malaria, even though DDT had been proven to reduce Malaria in Zambia by 75% and 80% in less than a year in South Africa. DDT has never been scientifically proven to harm jack #### except its intended target. But yet, we continue to let MILLIONS of people die each year. 800 thousand people didnt have to die last year. Another 800 thousand didnt have to die the year before that, etc etc. Those are real deaths, that's a real problem. And lazy fat ### Americans sitting at home on their couches sending their $1.50 a month to Sally Struthers thinking they are saving the world couldn't be more wrong.

Freon? Another load of happy horse #### for you greenie kool aid drinkers. R12 is still produced in the US and shipped all over the world. We just cant use it here. But, in your mind im sure that somehow makes sense LOL.

As nasty a human being as you are, I wouldn't wish death to any of your family members. But, I have a sneaking suspicion that you will soon begin to reap what you have sewn. i don't see what ddt and freion has to do with smoking bans.
don't try and change the subject.

All we non-smokers are saying is that we don't want to have to breath in your smoke when ever we go into any place. why should we have to breath in smoke, just because you want to light one up?

but sometimes i do kinda enjoy the smell of a little second hand smoke.
