That's just nasty if you ask me. I spent the better art of my teen years polishing trucks for my dad. I say PAINT EVERYTHING!!

You could rent that thing out to a lighthouse and not even have to drive it to make money with it.

Anybody actually know where these came from? I have a friend who loves old cabovers, and chrome. If he could find out where this truck is, he'd probably take a load that way to go drool over it in person.

If I were to restore one of these late eighties COE, do you think that they would be viable for an O/O? -
I hauled cattle with a straight stack single axle 2 stick B-Model Mack. I could outrun the bulldog. It would do 52 MPH with a laod and you had to hod it it 5 th with your foot or it popped out. Threw slush in your face in the winter and melted your boot in the summer. It was so hot we'd run at night and sleep in the aftn. What did you say? My ears are still ringing! I was trucking bigtime in 1970, delivering blackface cattle, rather sootface. Could barely afford a cup of coffee then.
Shoveled out manure and changed tires for xtra money.

I was thinking more along the lines of acetylene goggles instead of the sunglasses. That picture took a long time to load with my snail connection..

Sorry about the picture size. I made them smaller on my laptop and was going to post them at about half the size but they just didn't look good that way. It lost a lot of detail.

Don't worry cabover lovers!!! We are fixing to see every cabover built in the last 40 years once the mexicans get over here

They still make COE for this country, but only the Fire departments and trash companies get them.
