1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

So I just graduated and have no experience, and now I don't know what to do, what job to take, where I can apply, etc. I was googling truck jobs and stumbled upon this website. Thanks in advanced.

Be very careful.!! Start with the Bad Trkn Companies Forum and work your way around all the different forums,-ask alot of questions & get started...But,again,be careful and dont just sign on with the very first company until doing your homework on them first..Good Luck:biggrin_25520:

Beware of most companies, and even more scared of Werner, CRST,and Swift. However even those companies are great for some drivers.
    Congratulations on graduation!

:biggrin_25524: Wonders how the hell you dumped whatever amount of $$ into getting a CDL and don't have a clue where you are going. Did they teach trip planning in your course?

You better get the road map out and plan your destiny, stop going through life looking at the end of your hood.

Ease up on the bitterness, dang man! He didn't come here looking to get beat down, he was looking from advice from seasoned professionals.
Its overly critical loudmouths like you that discourage young drivers like him.

Sir, on Monday give Sandy at 800-548-8895 a call and tell her the driver in Truck #1832 sent you(since this is a public forum I won't put my name in here), this is with Watkins and Shepard, If you go to the threads about Watkins and Shepard you will find 99.9% positive about the company the equipment and the fact that when you go thru the 10 day orientation in Missoula Mt. then you are ready to hit the road WITHOUT A TRAINER:biggrin_255:, yes sir that is correct all of us here on the forum made it thru orientation to get into our own assigned truck and now we are on our own without a trainer. LOL:biggrin_25517: I highly recommend them, I have been with them over 3 months and what they say is what you get, they don't play games or anything here, What the recruiters tell you is the honest truth, This company is the most straight forward honest company I have ever seen. The things stated about recruiters is true, They will tell you what you want to hear at every company except Watkins and Shepard. Take Care this is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make make it good one.:biggrin_25525:

Before you take any advice do reasearch on one Giving it. IE some people claim to be drivers and are really recruters. To look at then click on thier name scroll to 2nd from bottom link (See all post by xxxx) click that then read. If they only talk up a company and never post about anything but company xxx be careful. You may be talking to a recruiter unaware.
