please god dont let canada switch over to the proposed hos
a 34 hr reset from midnight to 0600 over 2 nights--would actually work out close to what they want as the 48 hr reset
you would end up with hours off that didnt count toward your reset

Doesn't make much difference anyway. With the E/logs and black boxes coming soon, you'll work as the "computer" tells you to work, right? "Computer" says go, you go. "Computer" says stop, you stop. "Computer" says sleep, you sleep. "Computer" says fuel, you fuel. We're already seeing this now, as in GPS, auto trannys, automatic engine shutdown if low on oil/coolant etc. The driver just shows up, climbs onboard and gets rolling down the highway.

A good place to start would be to contact your state senators & congressmen with a letter or e-mail stating your concerns. Keep it professional & state the facts. That would probably get the ball rolling in our direction. I think that if more people would look into what Ray Lahood is doing they would agree that he has gone off of the deep end.

    Not much hope in that.

Lahood kept getting elected by the voters who vote by party and not intelligence. Seems it happens for the republicans as well.

Well make sure to line there pockets with thousands of dollars like the lobbyist and special interest groups do, then maybe we can get someone in D.C. to listen to the drivers.
