Give Mike a break. There are plenty of drivers on here that if it were not for the spellcheck feature wouldn't have a legible post.
Focus on the content rather than the delivery.
Help him and other new drivers understand to take nothing for granted or they will be taken advantage of by companies. No one really trains these new drivers so the least we can do is educate them about the pitfalls of driving.
Keep your chin up mike.
Mike.........don't EVER lease/purchase a truck. (There's a tidbit of free information.) -
I'm with you....., It really dumbs down our profession. It makes their (NOT THERE!!) case a lot weaker when you read it. IMO

Good luck in the future. I guess every company we see on the site have good and bad points. I hope you hit on the right one for you. Stay safe.

One thing I see a lot of on here from new drivers is that they do not fully understand that its their job to run and manage the truck not the fms for instance if you get a 700 mile load and it delivers four days out call the customer and get it reschedualed for two days out about 70 percent of the time you will be able to do this then call your fm and tell him of the change so he can look for a load for you to keep you moving comuncation is key you have to keep the fm updated on your hours and any problems so he can keep you under legal loads and you need to be calling the customers to double check directions and weather or not you can deliver early and even if the appointment on your computer is corect were I work once you except a load its your baby you have to manage the truck and your time to get the most productivity there is no way a fm with forty or more drivers to find loads for can micromanage every single truck that's the drivers job to be successful you will have to learn that .
tracyq144 Thanks this.
