I notice your location is Commerce, GA which is closer to our Morrow terminal than to Greer. It might be worth a call down there to check it out.

I run out of that terminal and am very pleased. Barry is our TM and is easy to work with. I grossed just over 65K this year. If you want more info post here or PM me.

 

I looked at Morrow also, they need drivers there too but its still more than 50 miles to Morrow, I live about in the middle of Morrow and Greer, figured I would not deal with Atlanta traffic and go to greer

 

Yeah, I understand not wanting to deal with Atlanta traffic. Hope you get on with Lawson and they treat you right.

Anybody thinking of going to work Walmart and is hired watch your back there good of doing and saying another witch is another way of trying to find a reason of letting you go. It's like they hire people that there only reason of being there is to get on your good side and then before you know it the stab you in the back and the next thing you know your cleaning your truck out.

 

Just some updates....Wal Mart no longer has profit sharing and insurance is higher(whats new?) and has definitely developed a bad attitude towards the drivers. Get fired easy these days. ...cameras in trucks, fired for anything , must follow pig trails on gps, wrote up if you hit breaks too hard or take a corner too fast, must show 30 days of cell phone bills(no excessive talking on phone while driving) upon request and six day work weeks are the norm. All drivers are inter regional( long distant) and don't even think of calling dispatcher....

 

Lol. It's about time they get you babied drivers off the breast milk.

 

HUH??? Really, never heard this one before ,never known any location to be in a hurry to hire someone just to let them go ...would really love to know the whole story behind that one.
