First of all, you do not need a wilson 5000 with that radio. Heck the wilson 2000 is more then you need but if you are looking for a wilson coil type antenna then the 2000 is the leat expensive choice.
When I was putting a radio in my pickup (98 Dodge Quad Cab 1500 4x4) I stopped at a truck stop and picked up a mag mount and screwed a used wilson 2000 in it and hooked up my swr meter and tuned it to the lowest swr I could get. I am running between 1.5 and 2.0. I then installed a connex 4300 HP doing a peak of about 135 watts and it worked great. I was easily county wide with this setup.
