Denver is in white out. All passes west of Denver are chains or closed. East ice and snow. I 25 at monument is closed due to ice. Be safe and good luck.

Oh joy of joy!!! Sounds like a repeat of I-40 from Amarillo to Flagstaff the week before X-mas. Low and slow, hopefully I will have something in the box to keep me glued to the road.

From what I can tell from Intellicast, I-70 should be clear most of the way across Kansas. Looks like it might get interesting near the Colorado State Line.

Temp just took a nose dive. Snow went from big wet flakes to small and dry.
    Stay safe.

Thawing out at the Denver Terminal. Just had dinner with Injun, ran into Grnberet31, and found Dick Jones on his way to Walmart. Other than my buddy Garmin sending me South of town on I-225 to S Rosemary it has been a good day. I thought for a minute that the wind in Kansas was gonna rip the drivers door clean off The PornStar but we made it. When the wind was coming from the right side of the truck it created a vacuum on the driver's side and I could see daylight between the door and the door gasket. It actually sounded like a Freightliner when the door left the gasket. Happy New Year!!!

Well, a little good news. After trying to get Memphis to do what my useless DM said he would do and T-Call my trailer at Denver, I went to the driver services window and asked what I could do. They offered me a local swap to get out from under a load delivering 1/04 16:00 and onto a load delivering 1/02 22:00. Not perfect but at least it gets me available 2 days earlier. I wonder what is up with all the delayed deliveries. There was a driver behind me trying to T-Call a trailer that he was told by a planner would be set up for a T-Call that doesn't deliver until 1/07. Got in a shower at least... now to go play "Where is the new trailer". I love that game. At least Denver is a small yard.
