No guys, there is someone doing this, and posting on you-tube. He came on this site and left a post. Here is the link
    http://www.youtube.com/user/watchmytruck
This guy is more stupid in some of these videos than the drivers are. Just pay close attention to his speed. Also watch what lane he is in mostly....

Wow. I'm glad that I don't live in the area of TN. Someone needs to....deal with that guy. Why can't he tackle political issues? I'm watching a new strain of cancer that will affect trucking unfold before my eyes. :biggrin_25510:

I STILL do not believe the posters story cause,he said he punched him,ran back to his truck, and left...OK,say thats true,it would have to be a knock-out punch to where this guy filming, who ha a hard-on for truckers, for sure would have followed in his 4-wheeler. If he WAS knocked out, this guy probably remembered,at the very least, the carrier name & probably trailer number..Eh,this whole story stinks of B.S.,and trust me,life is to short...Carry on with the thread though:biggrin_2554: It might get good.:biggrin_25519:

I watched the video...while the AD driver was being unprofessional and unsafe (in my opinion), but the loon filming this was an even more unsafe vehicle....it is obvious his focus was on the truck, not the elements in close proximity to him!

Ok done a bit of following the money here. You can see for yourself. This guy post these videos free on the youtube channel. If you want to pay(subscribe in his words) you can get videos sent directly to you. So this yahoo is in it to extort money from companies so their trucks arent shown publicly on his youtube channel. Well I think his driving is just as bad and sometimes worse than the trucks he follows. As I have stated before we will be seeing this guy on the news one day and. It wont be good. To see what this guy is about follow the you-tube page and he advertises his web-site and you can see for youself. One more thought if we obey the rules of the road we wont have to worry if this guy has a video of us. I would say that if your in Chattanooga all the way to Macon, Ga be on alert this guy gets around.

I wonder if this is the same guy in Tennessee that a driver did get into with after seeing him filming his truck. There is a news page about this. Ill see if I can find it.

Why "deal" with the guy? While I can't defend his judgment in using a video camera that way, when he should be giving his driving 100% attention, I can see his motivation. I am a student truck driver and the son of a truck driver. I have been around trucks and trucking most all my life. When I see those video's I can't help but think of CSA-2010 etc etc. In my opinion the cancer you speak of is not people posting videos of misbehaving truckers on youtube, its the misbehaving truckers that's the cancer. I for one welcome any and all attempts to eradicate this cancer. We truckers are largely responsible for stuff like CSA-2010. There are people in these forums that see this as I do, I have read their posts. As I write this I am reminded of that night back in the late 90s near the Alabama Mississippi line on I-20. I was passed by a cattle hauler I was doing the speed limit, this guy had to be going 90+. The wind coming off his rig was so powerful it shook the freightliner bobtail I was driving and it did knock a car off the road. Thankfully the driver was able to keep their car under control and get back on the road. I hate sharing the road with this type of person and I also have thought many times how that idiot would feel if it were his mother or father driving that car. We truck drivers love to sit back with our woe is me mentality, cussing the state DOT officers and the police officers that write tickets. We love to sit back and talk about how the country depends on us for everything from milk to their cars, and find some kind of virtue or a some kind of redemption in this kind of driving. What we sometimes forget is we are our own worse enemy causing the lion share of our legal problems. While I can't and won't applaud this man because he is doing something unsafe, I do think he has had enough and is doing something, maybe just maybe somebody's life might get saved because of his actions.

If you're not tailgating or speeding or doing something else to get his attention...I don't suppose he'll pay much attention to you or your truck.

That being said, The guy is obviously an idiot!
