Wulfman75 How is he suppose to prove himself if the truck is always in the shop? I think all newbees want to prove them self and show that they can run hard and will do the best job possible. I think that having the tools to do your job is a big key to doing that.

I agree, was just stating what's pretty much a known fact in trucking. Newbies get the old stuff, have to work your way up to the new stuff. I'm sure he's been requesting a different truck. Hopefully he gets one soon. Gotta be a rough start.

We've all been there. It took me a long time to get my truck in the right shape too. Yea you'll spend some time in the shop but it get's better. Stay on top of the issues you need fixed and dont let up. Once you get them corrected you'll be rolling strong.

Hello All...Yes i have requested another truck and then they ask whats wrong with my current truck...They just tell me to put it in the shop and have them fix it....So then i lose a day of work sitting in the shop...Been told there has to be something severely wrong with truck for me to just get another truck...So i keep putting it in shop..Maybe one of these days they will stumble across the problem and have her fixed...Till then i'll just keep driving it as far as i can.
wulfman75 Thanks this. -
Park on the outside lane of a t/s maybe someone will do you a favor and run into you!

All kidding aside, hang in there man, sooner or later you'll get another one. -
lol..thats kinda funny Wulfman because i have already been hit 2 times sitting in a t/s...1st time was down at Pilot in Albany right down the street from terminal....i was parked there waiting for dispatch to find me a load and i got woke up because a schneider truck hit the passenger side of my truck because he was trying to back into a spot not designated for truck parking...and then a week later i was hit while parked at a TA in Duncan, SC.....I got woke up to what i thought was someone knocking on my truck...turns out someone backed into the driver side of my truck...i woke up from a good sleep and realized what happened...so then he realized he was on my truck and then made it a hit and run...didnt have a company name on truck or anything so didnt have much info to take down....and was too asleep to think to get the tag # off the trailer....but only damage that was done was the mirrors were scraped up and driver side the casing on back of mirror was cracked....ill put my time in and be glad to get my new truck when time is due.

-
Well I hope JstNew has his wires crossed, I am due to start MTI in Ohio in a week. I have a offer to stay where I work now, but they need to know tomorrow if I am still going to go with Millis. I had my mind made up to go but things like this can really get a guy thinking.
