you need to get your cdl from a outside source and then apply in your area

It is my understanding the "Paid" part of the training is that if you work in specific areas of SNI, they will reimburse you something like $50 / week towards your CDL school. I went to school in July, started with SNI in August. They would have paid my CDL school bill at that rate had I went OTR and maybe Bulk out of Corapolis, but I ate my own CDL school bill to run on a dedicated account in the town I live in, which has turned into a local gig with SNI. SO to answer the original question, it is possible to get SNI to pay your school bill, but you will not likely be able to pick your job and get it paid for. On their site, each job listing says whether there is tuition reimbursement available or not.

I'm starting another middle of January. At that time I will have almost 6 months, but they are hiring in my area with as little as 3 months.

SCHNEIDER NATIONAL
Looks more like a puppy mill passing itself off as hiring for Schneider but I'd think SNI's legal beagles would tell em to knock it off if no drivers from this school were going to SNI. -
I was told by SNI they have "approved Driving Acadamies" as opposed to their own in house training school. A step in the right direction but a far cry frm doing it themselves in Green Bay.

I am currently sitting here in Charlotte NC awaiting orientation with Schneider...after a bad year of lease experience with USX and 4 years with Werner i guess that makes me experienced enough to get hired on...however i did learn something interesting...more experienced drivers run out of local area like Charlotte for the SE region runs whereas newbie drivers run out of Dallas TX...(This may/may not be 100% relaible info,,,just something i was told from recruiter)..
Schneider has been very very thorough and extensive in their background check on me, and I like that as it shows they are serious about hiring a good driver...and it makes me feel good about going to work for them...I have had ups and downs through the years with other companies, fortunatley no accidents or rollovers, DOT or CSA violations
After having tried to dedicate myself to Werner for 4 years and failing due to Werner's obliviousness about there drivers. i am hoping maybe i can try the dedication thing again to Schneider...i know a semi-famous celebrity (LadyTrucker) who has run for them for 15 years...and by God if she can do it so can I!
