I've been working On the Roehl way.,,

I leave out in the morning. Most likely I won't have the laptop with me. The plan is to change trainers 6 or 7 days into it. I don't want to be hanging around some truck stop or yard worring about someone stealing it. I'll keep a written journal and post when I can.

Well I'm waiting for my trainer to call. He was trying to unload 4 hours early and then pick me up. In the mean time I get to sit and worry that I've packed too much stuff or forgot something. I have my bedding stuff, about 5 days of clothes, shower bag and stuff, cpap machine, sneakers, 1 jacket, 1 sweater, hat and goves, insulated bib overalls, 1 walmart gracery bag with snacks, 1 small soft side cooler with 5 drinks, and my briefcase with my needed books and atlas stuff.

I managed to put everything but the food, sleeping bag, cooler, and briefcase in a duffle bag. I even got my pillow in there. I'll wear the sweater and jacket. I'm also wearing my boots because the sneakers were easier to pack.

I've got my cdl, medical forms (long and short), passport card, and assigned company cards and I'm wearing my Roehl badge.

Well something went wrong at headquarters and ended up not connecting with my trainer. But, we figured out how to reconnect. I have to drive 150miles to meet him in route after he gets loaded. It works out ok for me. I used to live in the city where we are meeting and I get to visit old friends while I wait to meet up with him. Of course getting back to my car might be a bit tricky.
