So I'm packed and ready to leave for orientation in the morning. After years as a corporate executive hack, I'm venturing into the new career as OTR Truck Driver. Something I've always wanted to do and I come from a long line of trucking blood. Three uncles, one aunt and four cousins are all truckers.
I get on the bus in the morning from South Bend, In to Dayton, OH. If I were to drive this route it would take about 5 hours. But no, the bus route takes 10.5 hours because I have a 5 hour layover in Toledo. So the adventure begins...LOL!
I'll try to keep this updated as often as I can.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of my fellow CDL classmates at orientation as well!![]()

No, but it does give you a lot of perspective to draw from and plenty of helpful advice from people who care for you.
