Southeast Minnesota is in horrible shape right now, there are multiple accidents every mile or so on I-90 by the MN/WI border and all over S.E. Minnesota. It is drizzling and cold all the roads are completely covered with a sheet of ice no plows out if you can stay off the roads in this area.

I29 SD closed from Brookings to ND, more than 46 hrs due to heavy snow and strong wind.
news said that I29 will be open Jan 1st 1600.... i hope... -
I-29 and I-94 will not open today 1/1 should be open tomorrow, but be reminded of the glare ice that is still on the road.
That's all coming from the NDDOT over KFGO radio Fargo. To many vehicles that need to be towed to get snow removed. -
You drivers out there be very careful and take your time. Don't want to hear any bad news about any of you. Get out the extra blanket and stay warm. Please keep us posted. Thanks and God Bless.

Mn DOT still reporting 94 closed in west central Mn. Updates tommorow.
I,m at the TA west of Twin cities on new years day.
Looks like a mess out there and the wind needs to die down for them to control the roads. -

brinkj23 Thanks this. -
yeah, I've been sitting at a Tesoro gas station here in North Dakota since early Thursday Afternoon. They open at 7 or 8 am, whenever they get here, and have been closing at 4pm. Really makes things difficult. Never appreciated the luxury of a 24 hour truck stop until now. 10 miles away from a casino... Wish I would've made it down there... Have had 3 trucks stop for a night, then take off down the closed freeway. Dont know if they got busted, but I really dont have a spare $1000 to risk. I guess I'll deal with poptarts and other crap food for another day... I'm in no rush now since I missed my load and the shipper in SoDak where I'm headed probably isn't open tomorrow... What a pain in the #$$.

It's all open now, but driving conditions are still difficult. ND and MN are open.
