Super Singles or Doubles?

    Well, first of all, it's X-tra wide, not "super single." A super single is something used on the front axle of cement trucks and the like.


    Anyways, i really like the xtra wides and i think they are the wave of the future. Smoother ride mainly. Not to mention better MPG.

    Well I've never had super singles or xtra wides whatever you wanna call them.

    i've heard all the arguments for and against......but what I'd like to know is this

    You get boxed in a lane and there is debris it pops two of your trailer tires.......are you gonna be able to get the rig shut down safely with the supers like you can running doubles or is there gonna be a real big mess

    doubles ALWAYS..same as above reason
    IF i get a flat I can limp it off the road or to a repair shop
    Super singles or Xtra wides YOU ARE DOWN right where it happens...and its time for a road call.....
