Sewerman called me and told me to look at the panel behind the drivers seat. Never knew it even existed....lol...Opened it up and the foam insulation was soaked and there was water on the boards..so I left it opened and hopefully it will start tomorrow.
I just have a feeling it is going to have to be towed!

Jim I tried to send you a pm but need a few more posts so one will be coming your way soon!
-
Sounds Good!
-
Welcome, and all the best to you. Pay attention & be respectful. Are you coming to glass? By the way, most of us have had that awful bus trip, uugghhh, brush it off! Be proud of where you're at & keep us up to date on how you're doing.
JimTheHut Thanks this. -
Yes I'm coming to glass. And will try to keep you up to date!
-
Glad to hear you're coming to glass, BUT....pay attention this whole week...as a glass hauler, you WILL get backhauls that are steel, lumber, coil, etc.,that require your attention to securement detail. It's not easy, but, as I tell everyone who'll listen--"If I can do it, you can do it!!" Where abouts in Texas are you from? We seem to keep putting on more & more drivers running out of Corsicanna & Wichita Falls TX. Many of these are dedicated positions which are glass only runs, but broaden your horizons & absorb the transportation freight requirements while in N Little Rock. Have a good week, hope to see you in Laurinburg for glass training!
-
Will do! I'm from Waco 'bout 50 mi. west of Corsicanna!
Thanks for the info and encouragement! -
You tell em dolly. I am not there to tell you glass haulers how to build a bulkhead for bar anymore for your back hauls.....
-
i briefly pondered going to glass, but for now i'll keep my skateboard.
-
Oh man, such horrific memories of building a bulkhead---easy for you---SO difficult for me! I finally understood the chaining up technique when pulling a load back from California, and the 2 middle timbers kept squeezing out. I was making the triangle/hook point up on the timber pile, instead of before it hit the stack, it was an "Ah-ha" moment!! Always will be grateful to you transportation drivers for your help in my success at Maverick.
