This can be a bit of a PITA to resync because the dash radio has to come out. First, the main radio has to be working correctly so make sure it is ok. If the radio is ok you need to be able to remove it. To remove it you need two small screw drivers that will fit into the holes on each side to release the locks. If you have four small screw drivers that will be better. The locks are spring loaded outwards at the sides of the radio. You need to insert the screw drivers about 2 inches and then hold them to squeeze the spring loaded locks in tight next to the radio. You kinda have to wiggle it a bit but once the locks are squeezed in enough the radio will pull out. Sometimes to you have to do one side at a time. Ok, anyway, once the radio is out, leave the key off, turn the radio on by the power button. With the radio on, unplug it. Leave it unplugged for about 20 seconds and plug it back in. Now go to the bunk control. (I can't remember how it comes out, but I think the trim panel just snaps off and then the little control panel is screwed in underneath, should be easy.) Unplug the little control panel for 20 seconds and plug it back in. Now, using the bunk control panel, turn on the main radio. This is the forced re-sync procedure. If it still shows no link, then you have a wiring issue somewhere.

New truck so the lock releasers should be in the cubby hole.

I appreciate your info HeavyD....worked like a charm!

I had a Prostar a few weeks ago with a NOLINK problem that we resynced a few times. It would work for a few days and quit. I pulled out the bunk control and found two 120 ohm terminating resistor jumpers plugged in instead of just one. The terminating resister is section of harness is about 3 inches long and plugs in between the panel control and the rest of the harness. If your radio becomes unlinked again make sure you have one there, not two.

Actually, I just remember too, International engineering told us the NOLINK issue is very common. They are finding if the truck batteries get too weak and the voltage is too low during cranking the radio will lose its link with the bunk control and you have to reforce a sync. It is more common with trucks with fridges and inverters with weak batteries.

You can also just pull the fuses for the radio instead of removing and unpluging it. Just make sure you pull both fuses. There's one for the radio and one for the radio memory. You still have to pull the rear control panel but at least you don't need any tools for that one.
