I started new thread for this purpose. "I've been working on the Roehl way..." You can always send me a private message with any questions. As of this writing I'm not planning on taking my computer with me on Evo 1, but that could change. They have me scheduled to be with 1 trainer for 7 days, then switch to another for 3 or 4 more days and then bring me home.

1200 miles from NE Ohio. I do have a new car though, so the ride should be comfortable, plus I like to drive! Though, I guess that last part goes without saying.

I checked out the Woodfield Inn online. Their website is a bit, um... lacking in content, but the amenities look nice. $400 for 3 weeks is a good price. That pool will get some use from me, that's for sure!

As of yesterday, there were only 2 people registered for Jan 31 besides me. Technically I'm not officially registered yet, as the 3rd party company that did the physical did not get the paperwork that day. Due to New Years it won't get done until Monday or Tuesday, but I passed the physical, and everything else has been done for a while, so I'm in like flint.

Is anyone else starting on the 31st?

Since when is Ohio 1200 miles from Marshfield? Or did you mean round trip?

You know what? I think I made a silly mistake. I remember doing a Google map on the address of the terminal, with directions from my house. I remember Google telling me it was about a 12 hour drive. I don't know how I got 1200 miles stuck in my head. It's around 700 miles one way, so 1400ish round trip. Please let this not be a reflection of my ability to read maps or follow driving directions. That was a brain fart. :biggrin_2559:

I glanced at the map once almost 2 months ago and the number 12 stuck in my head, lol. When I actually make trips I study maps, plan routes, calculate mileage, and estimate ETAs.

Where is Roehl's driving school in Marshfield? I can Google Roehl's Terminal on E. 29th St., but I don't believe this is the cdl school location.
