Good luck with your choice. I have very little bad to say about my treatment thus far. Trucking is tough and keeping a good attitude and just manning up and doing your job takes care of most things.

Made it to Eau Claire tonight. A good 666 miles in the books today. Supposedly have an appt to unload tomorrow at 1000 but the receiving signs says M-F 7-1600 so I hope I haven't been screwed. Called dispatch and they indeed say that someone here needed the material and set the appt for tomorrow so hoping that is correct.

Pretty #### cool up here. Right about 6 degrees tonight, not much wind so it is an easy to deal with "dry" cold as my Alaskan buddy would tell me:) At least no snow and ice to deal with thus far.

Got down in the negative numbers last night. Was able to get unloaded this morning as planned and got a preplan with big mileage numbers on it so was excited and then scroll on down and see I can't p/u until tomorrow so basically a wasted day sitting. Picking up at Conagra tomorrow and rolling down to Florida. Hopefully some decent weather to balance out the idle time I am building up:) Squeaked by with about 18% last month.

You tailing me again? I was up there in Eau Claire Dropped there Friday, then to Duluth MN Dropped there, then cross the frozen tundra to Rhinelander to pick up my pre-loaded (sorry we haven't loaded that yet) trailer Spent New Years there. From there to Marshfield and relayed that load. Then got a preplan for Gary... picking up in Gary... IDK??? That is all I'm saying... I just don't know... So where ya at?

Still sitting at Eau Claire. Going to wait and call them tomorrow at ConAG so I ain't wasting time waiting on the trailer to get loaded. Dropping off at what looks like the same set up as in Indiana at a TLC building. Says appt but hoping to be able to drop and hook. If so going to try and knock out 1300 miles over the next two days and be just a smidgen from the customer on Wednesday morning.

What was supposed to be a preloaded p/u has turned into a live load but kind of expected that anyway at ConAg. Seems I am about loaded and hoping to make it down to Mt. Vernon, IL by tonight.

Anyone interested in my year to date stats stuff can visit my blog. I updated a few things to get it as accurate as possible. December turned out to be my 3rd best month in regard to miles hopping over November by 2 miles:) January is starting out sweet with two consecutive 1000+ miles run so hoping it all continues well.

Made it to Mt. Vernon, Il as I had planned on. A good 600+ day again today. One of my favorite stopping places as the TA showers are real nice and a convenient Wal-Mart across the street. The TA is usually packed up but the AMBest (Huck) across the street always has ample parking. Five hundred miles to reach Ellenwood so may stop in for a quick shower and then head on down the road another 100 miles or so tomorrow, haven't decided yet.
This 32 degree weather feels like a heat wave after Wisconsin:)

We can use cigarette plug in inverters.

A pretty long day. Woke up to a half flat steer tire. Aired it up and took it down to a tire place to get a new one on as mine had apparently encountered a nail. They were just going to throw the tire away but I put it on the catwalk and brought it in to the terminal as no sense trashing a very good tire that just needs a patch and can be used on a trailer at least.
I requested to go to Marshfield last Sunday while they had me sitting all day until a Monday pickup. I told them I needed to have my starter changed as it was dragging but was told that the 80 miles was too far to go. Well the old starter gave up the ghost today. Luckily a driver gave me a push so I could start it by popping the clutch old school style. Made it in to Ellenwood where I await it getting replaced tomorrow.
