So a lot of stops along the 401 are just not catering to truck drivers like they used to years ago. No diesel, no nothing. But there are information centres in some of the new centres going up and one at least that I know of has a currency exchange. The new service centre in Tilbury just past exit 56 heading east. And you can get a cash advance there at the currency exchange and it is considered a purchase not a cash advance.
You might get mud on your boots on a damp day though, they aren't finished with their sidewalks I guess.

A lot of places don't care about us drivers anymore. HUSKY comes to mind. I asked for a bowl of chili to go and they put it in a large coffee cup with a short spoon. No joke this happened. I see this kind of BS all the time up here. I hate running in Canada because the service su&s. Most of the time the lots have holes big enough to swallow a car. Pavement? what's that? TV signals, forget it, unless your parked near a city. Internet? What's that? I'm happy if I get a good cellphone connection. I don't mind running the 401. All the services you need. You want to go without? Come to the western parts.
