Ok I start school january 31 graduate and march, I allready have a pre approval letter from werner. My question is about home time. I read on here diffrent home times for diffrent companys. Werner has a terminal about 3 hours south of my house in springfield ohio, Does this mean I will get better home time and how often do you think I would get home. Thanks

If your regional you should be able to get home every 2 weeks for 2 days. Don't expect to get home on your arrival date or you will be disappointed every time.

Let's see here, you live approx 3 hours north of the Springfield yard, yes? Look into dedicated. Get home every night on some of the local accounts.

Bear in mind that I didn't gaurantee home every night on dedicated. Depends on whether or not Werner still has the Budwieser account, and if there is a spot open. Budwieser is a pretty popular account because of the hometime.

yeah I understand I know when i talked to werner they said it was 26 cent per mile and 2500 to 2800 guaranteed for the dedicated division. Im also looking into tmc they have a really good website and i hear good and bad things about them.
    thanks again

Most dedicated accounts have no openings as of Jan. 2nd, also Eastern regional and 48 States solo have no openings either. Count on team driving and out 4 to 5 weeks home for 1 day every week out.

A friend of mine worked for Weiner for about 4 months last year. He lives in Northern Indiana, but his home terminal was Chattanooga TN! So when he got home time, he was dropped off in Chatt, and had to take a bus home, and back.

Needless to say, he ain't there no more.....

Hmm Dunno, I live 12+ hours from nearest terminal and will be allowed to drive home. (possibly because team driving and co driver lives 40min from me)
